792012 Hysteria
I read what started out as a funny article on National Geopgraphic about an incipient hysteria over the end of the Mayan long count calendar. 2012, the movie, comes out soon which has stoked interest in and misconceptions about 2012. I hope to shed some light on the subject and calm people's fears about yet another "prophecy" about the end of the world.
